Change & Capability Lead

About the role:

With a significant pipeline of projects and increasing client demand for assistance in delivering capability uplift, an exciting new opportunity has opened up for a skilled change specialist to join our consulting division. This role will have a high profile within the business and with clients, providing strategic advice to clients and internal stakeholders to deliver people-focused transformation. The most exciting aspect is that you will be a key senior member of a practice which is actively building and morphing in a fast growing, dynamic management consultancy.

About you:

As a leader within the People and Change practice, you will play a key role within our consulting team. This role would be ideal for a commercially savvy and customer focussed individual with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will possess strong business acumen and dynamic presentation skills along with an influential leadership style. You will have deep expertise in Change Management, with demonstrated achievement in leading large-scale transformation projects in a consulting or corporate environment. You need to be an adaptable and highly collaborative team player.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a change/transformation solution line within our broader people advisory practice
  • Lead the change component of consulting engagements
  • Support change readiness assessments with clients
  • Design and implement change communications plans with clients
  • Support the sales team with expertise for solution development, RFPs and client proposals
  • Contribute to IP development for the People and Change practice
  • Contribute to Blackdot’s thought leadership and content agenda (whitepapers, blogs, roadshows, webinars etc)
  • Facilitate client interviews, workshops and training sessions where required

Skills and Experience required:

  • Minimum 5-10+ years’ experience in strategic change management roles
  • Degree qualified in a business-related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in assisting enterprise-level clients in delivering significant change
  • Experience in a consulting environment will be held in high regard
  • A variety of change management experience ideally spanning people, process and technology
  • Experience in agile delivery of business outcomes
  • Advanced knowledge of change management practices and concepts
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Framework and IP development skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through complex business and client challenges
