With a significant pipeline of projects and increasing client demand for assistance in delivering capability uplift, an exciting new opportunity has opened up for a skilled Instructional Design specialist to join our team. This role will have significant profile within the business and with clients, providing strategic advice and operational execution to clients and internal stakeholders to deliver people-focused transformation. The most exciting aspect is that you will be a key subject matter expert within a company which is actively building and morphing in a fast growing, dynamic management consultancy.

About you:

Reporting into the Director of Capability & People Advisory and working with the broader team and firm, this role has a dual focus on delivering Capability and Learning outcomes for our clients and building and designing enduring Products and Solutions for the market based on outputs from our Benchmark research and internal Intellectual Property.

With 5 years plus experience in Capability Consulting or Learning, the ideal candidate for this role brings project and design experience along with an ability to learn quickly, adapt to client needs, and manage multiple tasks while ensuring an enduring and uncompromising focus on quality and outcomes.

Working in a fast paced, agile, and client focussed environment, the ability to deal with deadlines and work under pressure is essential. You will be creative and have a flair for designing superior learning solutions which are equally as effective in the classroom as they are on the job. An eye for detail is essential, a focus on results is a given and a bent towards innovation will be highly regarded.

Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Key instructional design lead on client engagements
  • Provision of a range of learning support including, but not limited to needs analysis, facilitator guides, workbooks, presentation decks, on the job tools etc
  • Provision of creative input into workshops, learning design, intellectual property
  • Provision of learning design standards
  • Key subject matter expert on blended learning solutions, learning technologies and learning effectiveness
  • Skills and Experience required:
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in capability / strategic change management roles
  • Degree qualified in a business-related discipline and preferably achievement of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Demonstrated experience assisting enterprise-level clients deliver learning programs
  • Proven experience developing a range of learning solutions which have achieved a demonstrable performance uplift
  • Experience in developing business simulations and experiential activities
  • Proven experience translating client requirements into effective learning solutions
  • Understanding of the various methods for deploying learning and experience in advising clients on the best method to adopt
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the organisation enablers necessary to drive lasting capability development
  • Experience in digital learning is highly desirable
  • Experience in change management is advantageous
