About the Role:

The Manager role at Blackdot Consulting provides an exciting opportunity for an energetic, ambitious self-starter with 4 years’ experience at a large consulting firm or equivalent industry experience. Managers lead engagements/projects and work with Blackdot’s top tier clients across the analysis, design and implementation stages of a variety of Marketing and Sales consulting and capability engagements.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering Marketing, Sales and Service solutions across different industries. Most important for success in this role is someone with a flexible, creative and can-do approach to work and who can work effectively in a small team environment and manage multiple projects at the one time.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Plan and organise project activity and manage project profitability
  • Deliver and facilitate client workshops, checkpoints and project meetings
  • Develop materials for projects and client workshops
  • Apply structured thinking to documentation of issues, ideas and recommendations
  • Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Provide expertise in relation to key findings, trends, developments and insights in the field of management consulting
  • Manage virtual teams / consulting staff
  • Develop intellectual property / Blackdot’s consulting tool kit

Skills and Experience:
 
  • Sound project expertise in the design and delivery of business consulting solutions across areas of Marketing, Sales and Service in one or more of these areas: Strategy Development, Sales Operating Models, Sales Force Effectiveness, Customer Experience Transformation, Channel and Profitability Optimisation, Customer Segmentation, Marketing Transformation and/or Service Management Optimisation
  • Business and commercial acumen
  • Structured thinking processes, advanced analytical / problem solving and research skills
  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically in design thinking
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Project Management and Planning
  • Advanced written and communication skills
  • Facilitation and presentation skills
