Manager, Change Practice

About the role:

With a significant pipeline of projects and increasing client demand for assistance in delivering capability uplift, an exciting new opportunity has opened up for an experienced consultant with Change Management Expertise to join our team. This role will have a high profile within the business and with clients, providing strategic advice to clients and internal stakeholders to deliver people-focused transformation.

About you:

As part of our People and Change Practice, you will play a key role within our consulting team. This role would be ideal for a commercially savvy and customer focussed individual with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will possess strong business acumen and dynamic presentation skills along with an influential leadership style. You will have deep expertise in Change Management, with exposure to large scale transformation project implementation in a consulting or corporate environment. You need to be an adaptable and highly collaborative team player.

Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Contribute to large scale client engagements providing end to end advice on change leadership in the context of sales, service and marketing as a part of a diverse team of generalist and specialist consultants
  • Lead workstreams on large engagements or lead smaller client engagements to provide transformational change support
  • Support the sales team with solution development, RFPs and client proposals
  • Contribute to IP development for the People and Change practice
  • Contribute to Blackdot’s thought leadership and content agenda (whitepapers, blogs, roadshows, webinars etc)
  • Facilitate client interviews, workshops and training sessions where required

Skills and Experience required:
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in consulting / capability / strategic change management roles
  • Degree qualified in a business-related discipline. An MBA is an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience assisting enterprise-level clients deliver significant change
  • Varied change leadership experience spanning people, process and technology
  • Business acumen
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through complex business and client challenges, applying a level of creativity while focussing on bottom line results
  • Experience in dealing with the ambiguity inherent in a consulting environment will be held in high regard
