Blackdot Nominated for Kentico Site of the Year Award

Blackdot’s recently revamped website has been nominated for a prestigious Kentico Site of the Year Award 2016 ! A celebrated achievement after a six-month period of redevelopment, during which the website was enhanced to reflect the new brand positioning, support the company’s content lead generation agenda and optimise the user experience.

With a solid content strategy and UX thinking behind the site, Blackdot leveraged in-house digital and marketing expertise for the design, which was then built and implemented by Create Studios. The website runs on a Kentico CMS and is integrated with various CRM tools.

The site is largely focused around one of Blackdot’s core objectives – helping clients understand what good looks like – and is an example of a genuinely content-led B2B demand generation engine. With increased use of Pardot –’s marketing automation solution – in conjunction with Sales Cloud and the Kentico CMS platform, the Blackdot team continues to evolve and fine-tune this highly efficient and effective marketing engine.

The website incorporates a range of innovative web-design and content strategy thinking, such as clear and compelling design, coherent user journeys, dynamic content features to enhance personalisation and a rich thought leadership library of blog posts, whitepapers and videos on marketing and sales transformation.

Chris Horn, Executive General Manager at Blackdot had this to say:

“We are genuinely proud and excited to have been nominated for this award from Kentico. A lot of effort has gone into building a cutting-edge marketing and sales engine at Blackdot in order to share with clients ‘what good looks like’. This nomination is a compliment to the efforts of both the Blackdot Marketing team and Create Studios.”

The ‘Kentico Site of the Year Award’ is a contest dedicated to seeking out the best Kentico CMS implementations. They select the top three sites from a range of categories, which are then put to a public vote. Winners are announced at the end of March and the site with the most votes overall is then named ‘Kentico Site of the Year’.
