Extensive Recruitment Activities Fuelled by Growth & Global Expansion

Driven by substantial growth, an upgraded value proposition and further global expansion, Blackdot recruitment activities have reached a veritable fever pitch with talent acquisition taking place across all levels and all solution practices.

The company has hired fifteen new key people during the last four months, and recruitment is still going strong with a further fourteen career opportunities available across APAC and EMEA for the remainder of 2017. These roles range from analysts all the way through to director level.
One exciting new development driving recruitment is Blackdot’s new Technology Advisory practice, which will enable the company to offer tailor-made agnostic implementation advice and solutions to their clients alongside Salesforce implementations carried out with their tech partner Sqware Peg Digital.
Blackdot aims to differentiate itself from other consulting companies by offering an end-to-end service that spans implementation, execution and embedding of change strategies. Their current growth strategy is closely aligned with their upgraded value proposition, and will help diversify core competencies and capabilities. The company’s existing Capability/People Advisory Practice will also be expanding to provide more complete capability, development, organisational and cultural change solutions and programs.

People programs are high on the priority list at Blackdot, and recruitment is a ‘family’ event, shared by the whole team who get involved in some way or another. Examples are: employees who help recruit by taking part in the massively successful Refer-a-Mate program, HR and Marketing who jointly worked on bringing the new and popular careers webpage to life, and staff from across the company, both senior and junior, who took part in promoting the company at recent career fairs in Sydney. This collaborative effort embodies the heart and spirit of Blackdot and reflects its core values.

Talent & People Manager, Darrshana Antony said: “I’m thrilled to share that in the last three months, we have grown the capability across our teams by 60%. This includes the young talent we have brought on-board as a result of our successful graduate recruitment program and a number of hand-selected first-class mid-senior hires. Concurrently, we are maturing the people function internally by launching many exciting people-centric programs and initiatives that aim to create an open environment for our teams to showcase successes, celebrate talent and support personal & professional development. I am excited to see what the new financial year is going to shape up to be like, nonetheless it’s going to be another cracking year!”
