Winning Hearts & Minds to Build Practical Capabilities

Blackdot’s recently launched Capability & People Advisory Practice will expand on existing solutions to drive customer transformation through harnessing the power of their leaders and people.

Building the mindset, behaviours and core capabilities required to thrive in a complex customer and buyer environment is critical for achieving repeatable and sustainable growth. However, coaching and training interventions all too often fail to deliver the promised behavioural change and return on investment. While Blackdot has always focused on holistic transformation solutions including capability, change and people programs, their new Capability & People Advisory Practice will expand on and lift these to new heights.
By addressing key client problems around leadership alignment and skills to drive transformation and lasting performance improvement, Blackdot uses evidence-based analysis, highly-targeted development tools and learning programs that are designed to engage people. Solutions will include:
  • Transformative Change Support
  • Frontline leadership development and embedding tools
  • Experiential learning in new contexts
  • Organisation design and development
  • Benchmarking and evidence based results analysis
Capability & People Advisory partners with Blackdot’s consulting team to provide an end to end customer transformation practice, leveraging their 12-4-7 framework.  Strategy is delivered through a system of implementation activities which create lasting organisational capability lift and competitive advantage.
Sally-Anne Lyster, who was recently appointed as Director of the new practice is driven by a passion for creating genuinely customer-centric organisations. This is supported by her expertise in helping enterprise clients realise lasting capability transformation. She brings 20 years of experience in consulting and financial services with her, having held several senior roles at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Sally-Anne has also consulted to the United Nations in Kenya, and worked at Investment Banks in London, and at BUPA. With her deep experience across sales, customer service transformation, capability and organisational development, change, leadership and strategy, Sally-Anne plans on bringing the very best of Blackdot expertise to all client engagements.
Commenting on her appointment, Sally-Anne said: “I’m really excited to be part of the Blackdot team and able to make a difference for our clients.  I believe that igniting the power of people – both leaders and customer facing staff - in a thoughtful way provides a real competitive advantage.  Customer preferences, the technology that they use and the way that they choose to interact with us is changing at a lightening pace.  Leaders who can harness their people and tools to adapt quickly and enthusiastically to this wave of constant change will outperform”.
